Anna Budd: I think it’s important to be authentic and bring everything you have to offer to the table. Diversity means you don’t need to try and fit the mould of what you think a real estate professional should be. By being yourself, you will have so much to offer that others can’t. Why not try to be that difference and make that change?

Amy McElroy: I have always recalled a mantra given to me by a previous mentor, which is “Facts are your friends”. I believe the best way to navigate barriers and tricky situations is to be very factual about service expectations. If you establish the facts and approach things professionally rather than emotively, this will open opportunities for progression in your field.

Blazena Grossmann: Don’t get caught up in internal politics. Rather, stay consistent, perseverant, objective, open-minded and flexible, and you will be valued and respected.

Jasmine Dillon: Speak to people, seek mentorship and build your network. I find real estate to be the most sociable and open sector I have worked in, so if you reach out, people will always be open.
